For over 35 years, she has specialized in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic gynecological conditions, including infertility, endometriosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
The office of Karen F. Brodman, MD, features the latest diagnostic technologies to accurately confirm a diagnosis. As part of the available gynecology care services, Dr. Brodman offers contraception counseling, well-woman exams, Pap smears, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing. She also provides resources for women struggling with menopause and perimenopause symptoms.
After earning her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, Dr. Brodman completed her residency training at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Brodman is also recognized for her expertise in menopause. She co-authored “The Unofficial Guide to Coping with Menopause,” is a member of the The Menopause Society and has been a Certified Menopause Practitioner (CMP) since 2011. She participates in continuing medical education and remains up to date with menopause management.
